Our vacation time was drawing to an end and March 24 was cloudy and bit cool, definitely not a beach day. Melissa and I decided to make one last trip to downtown Varadero to shop for gifts and premium rum. I decided to spoil us a bit by hiring vintage taxis to take us there and back. Our ride into town was a 1927 Ford and the ride back was a 50’s era Dodge. I’m not a car guy, so I could not tell you the models of either, but what I can tell you is they looked good and were fun to ride in. If I had to hazard a guess, the Ford is a Model A.
