Our Havana tour concluded with an evening Canon firing Ceremony at the El Morro fortress in Havana.  Every night at 9PM, rain or shine, actors in period costume fire this canon. Only black powder is used and there is no ammunition.  The show is a bit slow and there’s quite a wait time and only a single canon is fired. However, it produces a fantastically loud and satisfying explosion.  If you are ever in Havana at night, you really should see it.
