Sept 14, 2020 – Hopewell Rocks, New Brunswick

The Hopewell Rocks, also called the Flowerpots Rocks or simply The Rocks, are rock formations caused by tidal erosion in The Hopewell Rocks Ocean Tidal Exploration Site in New Brunswick.  On average the formations are between forty and seventy feet high. The highest tides in the world occur on the Bay of Fundy.  When the tide is high, all the rocks are submerged, luckily, I arrived during low tide.

This was my second visit to Hopewell Rocks and because of COVID-19, there was virtually nobody walking on the beach.  My timing was not the best for capturing the light as the sun was already setting behind the rocks.  Nonetheless, it was a really nice walk and this will not be my last visit.
