The Birds Are Snowed in Too

A snowstorm has hit Southern Ontario and I took a day off to avoid the inevitable hellish commute to and from work. Quite a number of birds were visiting our bird feeder this morning, so I grabbed my camera and a telephoto lens to take the following shots in my backyard. I would have taken more shots, but the lens was getting caked in snow and I did not want to damage it.

All shots were taken with a Pentax K-5 and a Sigma 150-500mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM zoom.
